The number "2" should not be in this video. The number "a shit ton of steps" should be.

I wish there was a fast way of doing this selectively. With rendered images, I get great selections, but often one edge is aliased. This will effect all of them. So best I could come up with is to duplicate the layer, use this technique until my one edge is smooth, although the other "good" edges are now no good. Select that, then pain over the original mask with white on the inside. Invert, and paint over with a brush with black on the outside, to selectively apply that portion of my smoother mask to where I need. If anyone knows a faster way of accomplishing smoothing only a portion of the mask, I'm all ears.

I couldn't figure out how to do this on the newest versions of PS so i just didn't for the past few years lmao. The "select and mask" option used to pop up as soon as you finished selecting a mask which was way better imo.

I have the problem with block edges and can't find a decent way to sharpen them.
