In this tutorial I’ll show you how to use the screen_save() function to save the current happenings of your game screen as a PNG image file. This image file can then be used as a background or sprite resource. This is the primer tutorial to creating a pause menu.

Be sure to check out my Pause Menu tutorial for an excellent use of this feature ▶

it works great, but because i allow different resolutions and window sizes, it never creates the image at the correct size or position in the room.

Is there a way to shrink the screenshot and show it on the next page? I click a button which screenshots my current screen takes me to the next page, shrinks my screenshot to a desired width/height , then shows it on the screen?

Would this also work with android?  If so would you need to specify using android photo gallery like you do in java or corona sdk?
