MCCOOK CENTRAL/MONTROSE 59, PLATTE-GEDDES 43 in Mitchell – Brandon Reif had 18 points and eight rebound while Jacob Heumiller had 14 points for MCM, which led 38-16 at halftime. For PG, Coby Johnson had 15 points. MCM (7-4) hosts Freeman on Tuesday. PG (6-4) hosts Parkston on Tuesday.

WARNER 68, KIMBALL/WHITE LAKE 65 – Jared Tuszka paced the Monarchs with 26 points and 11 rebounds. Derrek Tuszka added 12 points and 15 rebounds and Clay Rozell 16 points. Mitch Boesl had seven assists for Warner, which shot 57 percent from the floor. For KWL, Jesse Taylor had 22 points, Jacob Kirsch 14 and Kyle Peters 13 points, nine rebounds and six steals. Warner (7-1) hosts Hitchcock-Tulare on Tuesday. KWL (6-3) is at Sunshine Bible Academy on Tuesday.

SIOUX VALLEY 42, VERMILLION 40 – Spencer Hanson scored the go-ahead basket with less than two seconds remaining. Hanson led the Cossacks with 13 points. The score was tied 31-31 after three quarters. For Vermillion, JT Sorensen had 15 points and eight rebounds. SV (9-4) hosts De Smet on Tuesday. Vermillion (8-3) hosts West Central on Tuesday.

CENTERVILLE 74, HANSON 61 – Logan Hunter scored 25 points and Seamus O’Malley 23 to pace the Tornadoes. Luke Abbas added 11 points, Ty Knutson eight rebounds and Josh DeRaad five steals. For Hanson, Jordan Marquardt was 8 of 10 from 3-point range for 32 points. Matt Huber added 14 points and 10 rebounds. Centerville (8-2) is at Viborg/Hurley on Thursday. Hanson (8-3) is at Sanborn Central/Woonsocket on Tuesday.

DELL RAPIDS 72, ABERDEEN RONCALLI 65 – Cole Langer scored 20 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Quarriers. Bryce Koch added 19 points and eight rebounds while Ty Hoglund had 14 points and eight rebounds. DR led 34-25 at halftime. For Roncalli, Zach Schaefbauer had 13 points, Kory Schwan 12, Kendal Deustch 11 and Lucas Lorenz 10. Deustch also had five steals. Dell Rapids (7-5) hosts Vermillion on Thursday. Roncalli (8-3) hosts Sisseton on Friday.

ST. THOMAS MORE 53, DEUEL 28 – Jeron Laurenti scored 20 points, Aidan Goetzinger 14 and Jacob Henderson 13 for the top-ranked Class A Cavaliers. STM outscored Deuel 17-0 in the second quarter. For Deuel, Lincoln Swenson had 10 points. STM (10-1) is at Spearfish on Tuesday. Deuel (9-2) hosts Elkton-Kake Benton on Tuesday.

JAMES VALLEY CHRISTIAN 53, VIBORG/HURLEY 35 – Nathan Wedel’s 22 points and 11 rebounds paced the fourth-ranked Class B Vikings. Adam Hofer added 15 points and five steals for JVC, which lead 34-19 at halftime. For third-ranked VH, Jackt Huether had nine points. JVC (10-0) hosts Highmore-Harrold on Tuesday. VH (9-1) is at Alcester-Hudson on Tuesday.

WHITE RIVER 62, CANISTOTA 50 – Wyatt Krogmann had 22 points, Nic Waln 16 and Matthew Gillen 14 for the top-ranked Class B Tigers. White River led 34-24 at halftime. For No. 2 Canistota, Alex Robertston had 18 points and Cody Buner 17. White River (10-1) hosts Pine Ridge on Friday. Canistota (10-1) is at Chester.
