Here is a quick drill to help goalies acquire hard focus on the puck. Start with the puck behind the goalie and 2 additional shooters on each side of the goalie. Start passing the puck from behind the goalie to either shooter and back to behind the goalie. The goalie should remain in the butterfly position and rotate his/her head and eyes to get a hard focus on the puck. After a few passes the shoot will shoot a light shot to the goalies pad so there is a short rebound. The goalie should gather the puck and cover. This is not a hard shot. We want to puck to come off the pad slowly so the goalie can continue to practice focusing on the puck and gathering for a save. Speed comes with more practice. #ITSABOUTSKILL
