Setting Up Remote Desktop on Windows 10 is really simple. But, before doing so, you need to make sure that your computer supports it.
To use Remote Desktop, the computer you are going to connect to must be Windows 10 Professional or higher, which also includes Enterprise and Server editions of Windows.
Once you have met the prerequisites, you need to enable Remote Desktop and get the name of the computer or IP address of the computer you are going to connect to.
In a different video, you will learn how to remotely connect to another computer if you are running Windows 10 Home or another operating system.

July 4, 2020You can't set this up if you are using Windows 10 "Home" version. It must be the "Pro" or upgrading for "$99"…

July 4, 2020Both machines are Win10 Pro — both have remote desktop enabled. I have the correct credentials (they're MY machines). I continue to get the message:
A user account restriction (for example, a time-of-day restriction) is preventing you from logging on. For assistance, contact your system administrator or technical support
….time of day set correctly on both, services.msc all on default, no VPNs used…. what now?

July 4, 2020in case your credentials do not work:
1. click use other account
2. on your pc you want to connect to: Start > search: your account info > and take note of the technical name of the user (under the profile picture, between the human readable name and the role (e.g. Administrator)
3. use this on the other pc as username and then type in the password you normally use on the pc u wanna connect to

July 4, 2020Due to the Corona virus outbreak, most employees are working from home now
Aikotech ThinServer is a very good software for working from home as it allows a single Windows PC in the office to share multiple desktop to the home users. The home user just need ANY devices that support MS remote desktop connection ( PCs, Macs, IOS, Android etc )
