Brian “Tugs” Bowen has had quite the journey. After spending the majority of his life in Michigan, he decided to attend a prep school in Northern Indiana in La Lumiere. He was a prolific scorer the moment he stepped on the Lakers’ campus. He helped lead the team to the Dick’s High School National Championship in 2016. The Lakers ultimately fell short on a buzzer beater tip in at the buzzer. The following season Bowen had his work cut out for himself. He always is trying to improve his game whether that be his ball security, defense, and even his ability to score the basketball.

Coming into the 2016-2017 basketball season La Lumiere was a top three team in the country. They added key pieces in Jaren Jackson Jr., Jacob Epperson, and Jordan Poole, to name a few. They suffered only one loss during the season. The Lakers ended up winning it all and brought home that elusive Dick’s National High School Title.

Bowen averaged 20.4 points per game, 7 rebounds a game, and 3 assists a game during his senior season. He finished as a top 20 recruit on every major recruiting board.

See how he’s a dominant scorer and why Louisville fans should be excited about him!

No wonder it took him so long to make a "commitment". Waiting on that 6-figure deal. CHEATER and a DUMBASS. Couldn't even wait one year to make the NBA and start making big bucks. Pathetic
